Louis Carter, MA is a global thought leader in the fields of organizational
learning, strategic business planning, knowledge management, and leadership
and human resources development. Carter is President and CEO of Best Practice Institute
and publisher of Best Practice Publications, LLC - a research and
development association of professionals worldwide that provides best
practices coaching, analysis, and research in results-driven strategies and
people practices to organizations and individuals. Carter started out his
career as a consultant for Gemini Consulting, developing strategic plans for
major Fortune 500 and Global organizations. He served as Vice President of
Research and Best Practices at Linkage, Inc., an international change
management consulting firm where he provided workshop design, facilitation
and best practice communities for numerous Fortune 500
organizations. Louis has written/edited over
8 books, and directed over 3 major research
projects on leadership and change, and numerous large-scale learning events
on best practices in organization development and change. His most recent book,
The Change Champion’s Fieldguide has been endorsed as a book that, “will
become one of the most quoted, referenced, and used business books in the

received his Masters Degree in Social/Organizational Psychology with honors
